I believe in building the team through the draft. You can't just rush right out and sign every big name F/A that hits the market. While I'll agree it's frustrating seeing unused cap space get wasted, the Eagles were still second in the league the last few seasons in overall salary, and have still managed to have enough space to sign whomever they want. This thread is a little premature.

The whole point is that this is the one time of year when we can be afforded a little optimism.  If free agency goes by with very little activity as many of us fear, that will be a perfect time to whine incessantly.

Why bother starting now?  Until training camp starts, give the team a chance.  If you think the roster looks like garbage, then it's time to start a well-informed whining campaign.  No need to be preemptive about it.
