I think its safe to say that adding a quality LB or RB off of free agency is wishful thinking. The Eages are are so attracted to young LB's, DT's and corners (draft) to develop...its ridiculous. They drool over the draft and dont have a "win now" mentality. They want revenue and I mean for longevity purposes....and that means tickets sales and cap room for years to come. Its all about dollars$$ and either way, us as fans, will always go to the games as long as we  "think" we are true contenders.

Does anyone disagree with the fact that the TO and Jevon Kearse signings was the first REAL free agency signingsthis organization has had in what.....10 years??? We need another RB or (third down back)--Westbrook cant do it himself this year, DT and WR bottom line or we go nowhere.

SunMo

usually people actually wait until free agency starts to whine about what the Eagles do or don't do.

its not whining chief...its reality! How many times have we've been burned now....hmm?

I'm glad you brought these topics up. I've been wanting to talk about all of them.

I knew all that CBA talk was gonna spawn a whole new type of idiot.  Now everyone's a damn money expert.

not everyone.... my wife has no idea what "money under the cap" is.  She thinks as long as there are checks in the checkbook, there's money in the account.

You guys crack me up. I have to have over 100 posts to declare myself credible. Ive been an Eagles fan probably longer than most of you youngbucks, so your opinions are null and void.

Hey if they do something special with FA, good bless....they proved me wrong. But the Eagles love to put more hope in the draft then Free Agency...thats a fact. That cap room means longevity for the organization not go "balls-to-the-wall" lets go out spend it all on top free agents. If you havent seen that over the years...your blind and drinking the company KoolAde. I guess I should have posted my wish list like the others of:

Witherspoon, Jamal Lewis,  Bentley, Randel El, Pickett and Kampmann. Is that better?

Why would you join this board and start a new thread just to bitch and moan like a sissy girl?  We're all aware of the Eagles front office's tendency to avoid big free agent spending, and we've talked about it extensively.

Your point of view is certainly nothing new or different.

Same tone, same absence of substance, same tired rhetoric.

I was going to say that too. There's an air of familiarity in his words that you wouldn't find in someone who just signed up.

Predicting disappointment is a loser's attitude to help cope, in the event things don't go your way.

my friend Jimmy has a solution for people like these.....

Step 1:  Take your Eagles gear and flush it down the toilet
Step 2:  Buy taterskins gear
Step 3:  farg your mother
