re: Keith Adams (from ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2360775)
Longtime special teams standout Keith Adams finally got a chance to start in 2005 and ended up starting all 16 games on the weak side. Shorter than most teams like, but gets around the football (are they serious?), as evidenced by 59 tackles last season, and can still play on kick coverage units.

who wouldn't want adams, he's an amazing player.

... and he's got an awesome nickname he can't live up to.

I remember Adams. If you don't keep him in Philly, he's a sleeper to stay in the league and that's about it.

if Keith Adams wasn't such a decent player on ST, I'd rather have John Quincy Adams, or Gomez Adams....

I found Lenny's blurb on Adams funny as well.

He's around the ball? Helluva compliment. If I was an NFL player I would hope they say that I make tackles a lot and am not just around the ball like Keith.

Simoneau's around the ball a lot too.  He's always a step or two from making that big play.

LBIggle

i wonder what the actual guidelines are to constitute being "around" the ball.

Based on some of the guys on that list, if you are on the field when a play occurs, according to Fat Len, you were "around the ball."

He's always around the ball- whiffing on the tackle or bouncing off the ball carrier. His nickname should be the 'Rubber Bullet'.

MURP

0 INT's, 1 Pass defended, 0 Forced Fumbles, 0 Fumbles recovered, 0 sacks.

Keith Adams was def an Eagles linebacker.

the closet pooper is on that list too...if healthy, he might be worth a look if they want to add a big rb.
