That's not what I meant.  People are freaking out all of a sudden, thinking Jacksonville or Minnesota will sneak in and grab him.  I'm just saying it won't happen, that's all....

All the Eagles can possibly know is that they will have the first crack at signing him.  What they think is going to be an amazing, unbeatable offer might be exactly that... or it might be something that causes Bentley to play the market.

This guy's going to make some bank.  8-figure signing bonus is a given.

What are the odds that Jacksonville snags a player from under the Eagles' noses?

The man. The myth. The legend.

I'm not freaking out... I just know that until he puts pen to paper... he can chase more money if he chooses to.

For Bentley, that would probably be 5 or 6 year deal worth no less than $25-$30 million overall, with $10-$12 million upfront... maybe something like that?  It's going to be a lot of money.

I could live with that.

My best guess would be 6 years, $14 million in guarantees (maybe $11m of it immediately up-front), total value of about $35 million.  But that's a total stab in the dark.

Kreutz got 6/$23M/$7M SB a few years ago when he was a top FA, so you figure it will be at least $25M...
