English?

I read his deal was basically the minimum with a very small (under $50k) signing bonus... see?

SD_Eagle5

I heard it on Eagles live, don't shoot me.

You know anything you hear from Spadaro or Eskin or Gargano or Cataldi or Sheridan is automatically wrong.  Duh!

PhillyPhreak54

I believe that was Barber's deal in 2002. He got a $1.5M deal with a $750K SB back then.

You might be right, I had Eagles Live and the Afternoon Blitz going at the same time.

Even if it does work out, you'll still be around to remind us that (insert position here) is underachieving/sucking/injured and the Eagles FO is/was too stupid and cheap to have corrected the problem beforehand.

its not low risk...he could easily not even make it thru training camp as hes an injury waiting to happen or he might just not be able to play anymore and if either of those things happen they are really screwed at lb

That is... if they rely on Barber to be the straight up starter and do nothing else at LB.  There's nothing to say that's what the the Eagles are going to do at this point.
