David Givens to be an Eagle?

Givens is better than Randle El IMO. Givens doesn't have that speed to break a play open, but he has great hands. He doesn't drop balls and he's very physical and hard to bring down.

Give me Givens over Randle El. As for Moulds... I don't even care at this point. Moulds isn't going to be gamebreaker here either, and he probably won't do anything more than Givens would. Let's face it, Givens isn't a receiver that wows you, but who is that is out there? Moulds doesn't wow me, Randle El doesn't wow me, Jurevicius doesn't wow me. Givens is as good as anyone out there.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Id be more than happy if the Eagles obtained Givens.

if they sign another backup LB.. then who will the starter be?

i'd rather they sign moulds, and wait on another long term compliment to brown.  i wouldn't cry about it if they signed givens though.

Brown enjoyed a fairly good rookie year; I'm sure he's getting plenty of compliments. Moulds would complement him well though.

Well done.

Givens' stats past three years:
34/510 6TDs
56/874 3TDs
59/738 2TDs

Randal El's stats past three years:
37/364 1TD (2 punt return TDs)
43/601 3TDs (0 return TDs)
35/558 1TD (2 return TDs)

I've said all along that I would like to get ARE, specifically because he can help the offense AND the special teams, but Givens has been equally productive on a team where he was one of 4 WRs who regularly caught passes. He would be a major upgrade for the Eagles.

Randle El won't be an Eagle.

You can bet the house on that.  It's either going to be Chicago or Pittsburgh.

I already bet my house on TO being felled in a hail of machine gun fire. Seemed like a lock at the time.

Too bad you lost your machine gun.

You would have been much better served by investing the money in a purebread dog rather than a house. Then when whoever you lost the bet to came and collected, the super smart animal would later return to you Old Yeller style.

Old Yeller = Awesome at the peanut butter trick....

This sentence made my brain cry a little.

Indeed.  Then again, any reciever who regularly catches the ball would be a major upgrade for the Eagles.

Agreed. As GF keeps saying, anyone of the Pats' receivers should be welcomed with open arms. The dudes never drop passes.

I agree with your agreement of not only what I said, but what GF says as well.  Agreed?
