ESPN.com's John Clayton and Len Pasquarelli report San Diego Chargers S Marlon McCree agreed to a five-year, $16 million contract with the team. Included in the deal is $6 million in roster bonuses over the first two years of the contract.

Jamison Hensley, of the Balitmore Sun, reports the Cleveland Browns have reached a contract agreement with free agent DT Ted Washington (Raiders). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

And they just confirmed they'll pay Northcutt his roster bonus, keeping him on the team for his final year.

Unlike Philadelphia, Cleveland isn't afraid to spend money.  And I can't say they've spent it badly so far, either.
