Those slushy roads will be bitchin' tonight when the temperature drops below freezing again.

Both. I'm being set up here, I just know it.

I'm sure your versatility keeps your dry spells short.  So, congrats on that, I guess.

my wife used to work at a bank and the maintenance guy there, who she knew, had a heart attack and died while shoveling snow on Sunday.  sucks to be him.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Ahh, good times.  It was a monster blizzard the first time my wife slept over...of course, that was 15 years ago, and we were 19-year-old college kids at the time, so the situation was a little different.

Diomedes

finally got the pics of the dogs playing in the "blizzard of '06."  My dog Asia is in the foreground.  She's seven.

Very cute dogs.

I love animals so much. Looks like they had a lot of fun.

Handsome dog. If I had one, I'd want one like that.

More dogs in the snow.

Ridgebacks are great dogs.  Kaylee's gorgeous.

She's my first Ridgeback. I had a yellow lab for years that passed on a little over a year ago, and she was  the best dog anyone could ever wish to have. I wasn't even looking for a dog, and had never heard about Ridgebacks before, but was helping a friend look for a puppy for his kids. While looking around we found a breeder out in West Virginia that had a few puppies. They were a little out of his budget, but I took Kaylee home the next day. Only had her about seven months, and she has been great.

I've always had mutts.  Asia is mostly boxer, but has something else mixed in, giving her a proper nose.  I'm hoping to get a Ridgeback next..probably a rescue or an adoption of one born without the characteristic ridge, but I haven't ruled out paying ridiculous money for a healthy purebred ridge.  They are regal, formidable dogs with fantastic personality and great health.  And they're beautiful.  I'm also awful partial to German Shepards, but those are much easier to come by in near-pure mutt variety, healthier and cheaper for the mixed blood.

Within a couple years, Asia will get a sibling and after that, I figure I will always have at least two dogs.

Purebreds can suck it. As much as I think Pits, Boxers and Rotties kick ass, give me a mutt every day of the week.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
