Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Randle-El's price goes up even more.  He also carries the weight with him of just playing in and winning the SB... he's gonna get a big payday.  Let someone else pay him #1 WR money to get a punt return specialist in return.

Well, if you're right then I agree.

If.... I'm right?

QuoteGreen Bay's Kampman Could Interest Eagles By Lane Adkins
Scout.com
Date: Mar 1, 2006

The Eagles are looking for a few good men on the defensive side of the ball. Green Bay is trying to keep Aaron Kampman in town with a new contract, but if that doesn't get done, the Eagles may ask him about switching the color green that he wears.

The Packers have had ongoing discussions regarding the status of soon-to-be free agent defensive end Aaron Kampman. The Packers feel their defense is an improved unit and want to begin to establish some continuity.
Kampman, while not generally regarded as a pass rushing end, was again a consistent performer for the team in the 2005 season. Green Bay anticipates Kampman will be a high demand if he becomes a free agent on March 3rd.

Team General Manager Ted Thompson regards Kampman as a foundation type player, but is not expected to over-extend in contract talks leading up to the free agent player signing period.

"The Packers have shown they want to keep Aaron (Kampman) and are in talks to see if a deal can be done prior to free agency," a source close to the player said.

The free agent market at the defensive end position is regarded as average heading into the signing period, with New York Jets defensive end John Abraham leading the list at the end position (Abraham was franchised but is available via trade).

With Cleveland Browns defensive end Orpheus Roye agreeing to a contract with the Browns this week, one more highly regarded talent has been removed from the equation.

"Kampman will be sought because he is consistent. The market price at the position may be magnified due to the overall questionable amount of available talent," one agent said. "If there was a time to be a free agent at the end position, this off-season may be as good a time as any."

I'll just post this KFFL crap here since it's old news. The Eagles being interested in Jurevicius is new though.

Larry O'Rourke, of The Morning Call, reports the Philadelphia Eagles might have interest in Seattle Seahawks OG Steve Hutchinson if he hits the free agent market. The Eagles would likely have to include $10 million or more in bonus money since the Seahawks are able to match any offer another team makes to him. Hutchinson has been given the transition tag by the Seahawks.

Larry O'Rourke, of The Morning Call, reports the Philadelphia Eagles might have interest in Seattle Seahawks WR Joe Jurevicius if he hits the free agent market. Jurevicius would add a veteran presence to the team's receiving corps. He could also relieve some pressure off Eagles WR Reggie Brown and help ease fears in case WR Todd Pinkston (Achilles') does not return to his pre-injury form.

Eagles | Team might have interest in Randle El
Wed, 1 Mar 2006 20:29:12 -0800

Larry O'Rourke, of The Morning Call, reports the Philadelphia Eagles might have interest in Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antwaan Randle El if he hits the free agent market. Randle El would help bolster the receiving corps while being able to play on special teams and act as an emergency third quarterback.

Hes on my list.  I think he played in 91% of the snaps on defense last year.

Hes not going to get to the QB alot...maybe ever.  Hes going to provide a non stop motor, play the run well, collapse the pocket for the DT, and can spell Kearse so he can do other things in the D.
