My bets today:

Two Team 6 Point Teaser:

Seattle +10
Seattle - Pittsburgh (over 40.5)

Two Team Parlay:

Seattle (+4)
Seattle - Pittsburgh (over 46.5)

Straight up:

Seattle (+155) moneyline

My only prop bet:

Matt Hasselbeck passing yards 236-299

awsome job, captain sucko

Thanks very much, bitchass.

The Hasselbeck prop bet allowed me to recover what I laid down today. So I'm back to where I started.

Go kill your english teachers.

There was a bet I was dying to take but didn't. I think it was something like Jurevicius 23 total receiving yards as a prop bet.

Yes, I looked at that one too. BOS had it at 27.5 yards. I was going to go half on that and half on Hasselbeck but decided to go all out on the QB.

And Duce gets his SB ring even though he didn't play.

They'll cut him and then he can come back to Philly on a lowball offer.

Ward gets MVP

I suppose he's the logical choice since he's really the only player who had a solid game.  Charlie Batch would have been as good a choice as any.  That's how bad this game sucked.

What ticks me off is that last year's Eagles could have easily handled either team tonight.   :boom

Does Roethlisberger get celebrated because he didn't "lose" the Super Bowl?  He sure as heck didn't win it.  He came along for the ride.

I think they'll make a big stink about the fact that he's the younges QB to win it but I don't think any self respecting sports reporter would claim that he won that game for them.  So for those of you listening to WIP in the morning, enjoy all of the Roethisburger is better than McNabb talk that's gonna go on for the next 2 weeks.

He's automatically better than Donovan now. even though he was 9/21 with 2 picks he will be the guy the haters around here will champion as the guy "we wish the Eagles had instead of that bum".

I think that was worst played/officiated SB I've ever seen.

Darrell Jackson TD should have stood.  Bad call on the offensive PI.

The Roethlesburger td was a bad call imo but at the same time a good call by the head ref not to overturn it as I don't think there was enough evidence on the replay to do so.

Seattle shot themselves in the foot with too many stupid mistakes.  There was a false start call on Alexander and they were doing a close up shot of Alexander when he flinched.  RB's should not get false starts called against them.  Ever.  Especially the league MVP.

The holding call on Seattle where Stevens caught the ball at the 2 was a terrible call as well.  A couple plays later, Hasselbeck throws a pick and Pitt ends up going up 21-10.  Game over.

zesty Super Bowl... zesty buildup leading up to the zesty Super Bowl... zesty Super Bowl capping off a zesty 2005 season.  Yay 2006!

Why does everyone want Randle El? He's not even the top 5 out of the free agent receivers out there. What is this damn obsession with him? He can help you do gadget plays but as a receiver he's average.
