Betts looked studly compared to Duckett yesterday.  Duckett's few carries actually made the Eagles run defense look something other than a complete joke.

that's just the honor of Joe Gibbs, he doesn't want to beat you with his best players.  he feels its only fair to eliminate mismatches and make things fair for both teams

QuoteI've only really scanned the title threads, so, I'm hoping this isn't redundant.

This game made me feel pretty good. We never stopped fighting. Our D hung in there and didn't hang their heads. We kept moving on offense and had quite a few scoring drives. I can imagine them easily becoming touchdown drives soon. The passing game looked far more dangerous. This was a game we won everywhere but on the scoreboard.

400 yards offense

Dominated time of posession.

Almost overcame the refs. First drive we should have gotten the ball on the one with a PI. Instead, the refs called the most non existant hold possible to give them a TD opportunity. Refs refused to call anything but the most blatant calls against the Eagles.

Campbell and Cooley both came back from rough starts.

This game gave me a lot of hope. We'll be okay next year.

Phreak, that's actually a fairly reasonable take on the game, IMO.

PhillyPhreak54

They still lost. They did fight back and all that but its still a loss. Just like the TB loss is a loss for the Eagles no matter what .

I'm not into moral victories.

PoopyfaceMcGee

That's all well and good, but I'm sure there are funnier takes on the game for you to post for our amusement.

Do better.

Did shtein like that sound "right" when we had moral victories vs. the Bucs and Giants and whoever else we "should have" beaten this year?

Not to us, of course... but Bucs and Giants fans both knew what was up.

The Eagles barely, barely, barely held on to win yesterday.  Yes, a win is a win, and it was nice to actually hold on instead of giving it up, but I see no reason to ignore what was actually a decent effort by the skins and a concerning one from our Eagles.

What part of that is reasonable?   :-D

They are defining "okay" very liberally.

Here are some taterskins fans when the taterskins score a TD

Was that before or after the Colts were up by 20? :-D

I don't understand this thread. Why are you guys laughing at taterskins fans for being so positive. I mean, being unrealistic and blindly positive about your favorite team when they have so many obvious flaws is what being a fan is all about. I'm confused and think you're all mean and grumpy. [/Munson.. oops, I mean JTrotter Fan]
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
