Hell, Mel Kiper has Mike Williams as his highest rated player in the draft, and look where Williams is now.

Very true. In fact, the thread I pulled that from, was brought up with the express purpose of embarassing an Eagles fan who was talking about how TO was not going to cause the team to rip apart in 2005.  :-D

The result of the game in question? :-D

ah, memories. i was at that game. one of my favorite games ever.

Mine too. I wish my VCR worked so I could watch that game right now. All the Skins fans did nothing but talk smack about the genius that is Spurrier (despite ALL evidence to the contrary) and they got absolutely destroyed after squeaking by the Cards in week 1. That game was awesome.

I still remember Madden talking about Spurrier's flapping lips.  :-D

i believe that was also the pepper spray game.

we all stood up and told everyone around us that it looks like the skins just forfeited and they should all go home.

No that was the next year, which was also a massive blowout. Dammit I miss living down there and laughing at those jackasses...

Next time you are in town you can stay at my place for free. Hell, you can even farg my sister. I have two fargsticks that live across my street with taterskins shtein all over there yards and cars. Flags, stickers, dumb inflatable players, you name it. I like get drunk in the garage with the door open and throw cans and obscenities in their general direction. I also relieve myself on their lawns on occasion. It is fun, and it would be about as much fun if you showed up, only I'd have some dickbag with a miserable attitude bogarting my booze.

On second thought, farg off and stay up north. Deadbeat.

QuoteMRS. GIBBS IS CRACKING THE WHIP (AGAIN)

Despite prior rumblings that taterskins coach Joe Gibbs will spend two more seasons in the NFL before returning full-time to NASCAR, we're now hearing that Mrs. Gibbs is pushing him to pack it in after the 2006 season.

Word is that Gibbs, who'll turn 66 in November, is starting to feel the physical effects of the day-to-day grind of being an NFL head coach.  Gibbs has diabetes, and in May 2005 a stent was placed into one of his coronary arteries.

The stress on Gibbs figures to be higher in 2006, given that the team is saddled with legitimately high expectations for the first time since the 2000 season.

When Gibbs returned to coach the taterskins in 2004, we heard that Mrs. Gibbs was a driving force behind the move, since it enabled son Coy Gibbs to get from behind the wheel of a race car/truck and launch a career in coaching.  Coy still serves as an offensive assistant with the taterskins, and it remains to be seen whether his career will continue in D.C. or elsewhere after the head coach walks away.

Wonder what ES'ers are saying. I bet that no one addresses the topic at hand but rather bash Florio and PFT.

I'm sure Coy Gibbs will be just as good as his dad anyway.  No worries.
