I ***GUARANTEE*** that Eagles fans would not bend over and take it if ticket and parking prices were continually raised past the point of reason every single season.  And when the team had been struggling for many years and finally had a passable (although extremely unimpressive anyway) season, and the team's prices go even further up... There would be an absolute revolt.

You see... Philadelphia fans are not, for the most part, blind lemmings.  If the Eagles would sell out every game for 3 decades, it would only be because ownership is doing their damned best to build a winner.  However, Snyder is too busy trying to sell tickets to truly try to build a winner from the ground up.  Everything is quick fixes and "name" players and cash outlays.  The focus on true talent evaluation, especially in regards to the draft, is atrocious.  But he doesn't care, because he can just continue to do it the easy way by throwing money and names at the problem, and his dumbass fan base will continue to foot the bill with outrageous prices to see the games.

this is true

if the eagles go into the shteinter for an extended period of time say good bye to any waiting list...because of the psl's it will never be like it was in the vet in terms of how easy it was to get season tickets but best believe philly is never going to have a 40 year waiting list

The Phils are learning this now.  They thought a short spending spree would sell out CBP for at least a decade, but as soon as the fans realized that the FO/ownership was just trying to sell out the new stadium and not really all that interested in actually winning, they started to give up their season tickets in chunks.

This is the inherent reason why Philly fans are better than Washington fans.  We care about dedication to winning more than we care about dedication to spending, because we can actually tell the difference.

i don't understand why anyone would defend the skins jacking up prices.  Prices are completely insane now.  Those $35 parking spots are horrible.  You have to take a 5 minute shuttle to the stadium from them.  I can't believe danny boy is actually charging that much.  Tickets are going up all around DC.  The wizards are taking ticket prices up 60%. 60% in one year is beyond belief.  $100 tickets are now going to be $160. 

The taterskins do this because they can.  The area around DC is pretty wealthy.  The taterskins however decided to build the stadium in crackville USA.  They(i mean danny) saved money by building it in a horrible area.  THe taterskin fans will pay $35 without second guessing.  Parking passes for spots about 600-1500 ft from the stadium would go for over $150 on ebay depending on the game.  I am pissed about this though.  If prices go up there is no way I will be going to any games.

is there any public transportation or other place you could park a few blocks away. for eagles game, septa is like 2 bucks round trip, its pretty easy considering how inept septa is.
