there's no way this team couldn't have won a game or two in the real tourney. they've really gotten better over the last month or so. but i guess i'd rather have them win the entire NIT over winning one or two games in the real one.

I would have rather have seen them make the Sweet 16 than win the NIT, but I would have rather seen them lose in the first round like Temple than lose the NIT final.

So, the game against Baylor is kind of a big deal.

Nice get, for sure. If the boosters continue to support the program, better times may be ahead. It's not like becoming a top team in the Big Ten is really far from where they are now.

they will never be a top team in the conf...only reason they were even as good as they were this year is because the conference was a tragedy and specifically indiana is so down now...but tom creen has been recruting ridiculous and they will soon bump penn state back..wisky also had a down year...purdue and michigan should always be better...obviously michigan state...

best they can hope for is to run middle of the pack and make another nit run...but really their goal tho should be to not completely suck in the conf.
