King considers himself a personal friend of Favre and is the archetypical Favre slurper. The really sad thing isn't just that statement, it's the fact that you can open up King's archive and discover tons of additional fawning over Favre that is even more pathetic.

I agree. It's one thing when the announcers are slobbing his knob even when he's out there being ineffectual and throwing wild INTs all over the field game in and game out (a situation that has been the case for many years). This year, however, is among the best seasons in his Hall of Fame career. Given Favre's remarkable resurgence, the shteintiness of the Eagles, and the Cowboys threatening to win the NFC, it's safe to say I'll be rooting for the old man in the playoffs.

No question. I cant see how Mike McCarthy doesnt get coach of the year. Yes they have holes, but that team blew every analysts expectations out of the water for both offensive and defensive production. Good for him and them
