Season 5 starts tonight on FX at 10pm. This is probably one of the top 3 dramas on TV right now. It appears the main storyline this season is Internal Affairs (mainly Forrest Wittaker) trying to get Mackey.

Anybody else watch this show?

Looks good, but I never saw it. I don't watch much TV, and I didn't want to get sucked into another series.

i saw it a few times. yet another cop show that didnt interest me much.

The ladyfriend has an irrational hatred of Michael Chiklis so I've never gone out of my way to watch it. I think it's ridiculous but who am I to judge someone else for hating things irrationally?

Looks like a pretty good show, though.

it really is an excellent show. it's on FX so the writers have so much more freedom as far as language, violence, and all the good stuff goes.

it wasnt until about four or five months ago that i realized the guy on the shield wasnt daniel benzali....needless to say ive never seen the show

I love the show, but I wind up missing it most of the time due to work. I need to invest in some television recording technology.

It's the only cop/crime/law/drama show I'll watch. Every time they start up a new season the IRS calls me up and I've got to work nights again.

you could probably get a VCR for free from somewhere since it is ancient technology now.

I like it. Chiklis is a badass.

When they brought Glenn Close in, I actually stopped watching in protest because I can't stand her.

I slowly started watching it with her in it and she's not bad at all. She's still annoying but Chiklis is so f'n awesome that he makes her bearable.

she was good last year, but it was a one year gig. Forrest Whittaker is the outside name they are bringing in this year.
