The guy has played on a broken ankle, with a bruised sternum, sports hernia, cracked ribs, broken thumb......he list goes on and on. Your house must be full of nitwits. Question his accuracy, his brains, his leadership but not his toughness.

will mcnabb be mentally healthy?...theres a question as to whether he has the nuts to come back and buck up after this year...not to mention the pressure on him next year is going to be crazy...every worm burner is now going to elicit boos...every loss will be on him...ect...ect...ect...he doesnt seem to be the type of person that can handle rough times...when everything is going great hes all jokes...but the minute the going gets tough mcnabb gets going in his pants

read much?

Alot better than you read.

um yeah, nuts, as in balls, as in guts, as in mental fortitude.  but keep talking about the broken ankle, they're the same thing.

you said nuts, so obviously you were talking about his injured testicles and whether he could come back from that.

Questioning McNabb's grit as a player is ridiculous.

It's not even worth arguing about because it's so farging retarded, it's not worth the effort.

stillupfront

Playing with injuries and pain is more about mental than physical toughness.

I could be just fine with LJ if he would just hold on to the farging ball.  If I could watch him catch the ball and not immediately hope and pray he not fumble the ball away would be great.  When McNabb is in there with him, he makes most plays when needed and is a legit weapon in the offense.

Just gotta secure the damn ball.

Have to agree and hold it down with Feva.

Little John will get progressively better. This year he made a step up from last year and thats all you can ask for is the guy to get better.

He needs to get better on;

1. Ball security
2. looking the ball in ; stop looking upfield too early

Great receiving TE with great hands, but his blocking sucks, he still doesn't know how to tuck the ball away, and he clearly gave up when McNabb went down. He's got top 5 TE in the league ability and is a good fit for this offense.

Did he live up to expectations? For a little while, but not for the entire year.

He's not a blocker. Obviously his blocking needs to get better, but he's not going to be a run blocking TE. Shockey, Gonzalez & Gates aren't real polished blockers either. Their job, as is LJ's, is to make plays in the passing game.

That is why the Eagles need a good solid #2 TE like the Chiefs have in Jason Dunn.

Also like the Cowboys have in Dan Campbell so Jason Witten can go downfield.

GET DUNN!!  AGAIN!!!

He can be our new Thrash. Sign him. Cut him. Resign him. Trade him. Pick him up on waivers. All before week three of the next season.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Chad back. He's better than what will be available, he'll come relatively cheap, will be in his second season after his injury and will have a full TC under his belt, he knows the offense, he's also a team leader with a great attitude.
