Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone.  I am currently at the St. Louis airport at the USO and just met the Rams cheerleaders.  I have leave for the next two weeks so you should see me on the board a little bit.  Anyhow sucks that the Eagles season went to shtein but whatever we'll get them next year.

Active, and because always wanted to do it and they offered me a nice package E-4, $20K, and Repayment of student loans.

That's a sweet deal though, I entered the Navy in '96 as an E-1 with jackshtein.

Fansince61 was in the Army (he was an officer I think), you might want to PM him for some advice.

Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove Ft. Hood area is pretty good. You're 2.5 hours awy from San Antonio. 3 hours away from Dallas. 3.5 away from Houston and only an hour away from Austin which is a good party spot.
