Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

what do you do, tape her pictures on the back of your dog?

Lieber's had like a 1.80 ERA his last three starts.

Of course he'll probably not be able to locate his pedestrain fastball tonight and it'll get launched.

we have kicked Glavine's ass the last few times out

He's actually 2-0 in his last 3 starts against the Phils.  Gotta love the ESPN bottom line.

I thought that sounded like bullshtein.

heh

I forgot the Phis scored some runs on him early on in his last start then got shut down.

He lasted 4 and a third before that and gave up 4 runs.

This is the fourth game Glavine's pitched against the Fightins:

May 10:  7 IP, 3 ER, Mets win 13-4 (Glavine win)
June 13: 4.1 IP, 4 ER, Mets win 9-7 (Glavine ND)
August 5: 7 IP, 3 ER, Mets win 4-3 (Glavine win)

The three homeruns all came off of a Howard homerun in the first.

That was a horrible horrible game.

Watch Lieber throw a perfect game tonight...   :-D

I would love to see that.  I really would.

Nice try on the edit.  That game was way far from perfect.

It was way far from the 10 runs I expected Lieber to surrender as well.

I'll take a shut-out from Lieber any day.  They're as rare as un-funny puns, doode.

Way to avoid the sweep, Mutts.
