That said, it's just the NBA, so in a way, I agree with you.  The Phillies, on the other hand... dude, it's Major League Baseball.  It the oldest organized league in this country, so it matters even if the Phillies have sucked forever and a day.  If you're from Philly, you cheer for the Phillies.  It's just as simple as that.  At least to me, it is.
