So...

I need at least one, maybe 2 tickets for the Skins/Eagles game New Year's Day...

I HAD a ticket...but now, I don't.  >:( (don't ask, high drama, low results)

If you have any leads, contact me. ;)

im sure there will be some on ticketmaster. just check the week of the game.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Father Demon

Also, scalpers last night were only getting face value or less for tickets...   I'm betting it's the same for the rest of the season...
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

So what happened witht the ticket you once had?

Beermonkey

As said above, you will be able to get them via Ticketmaster without a problem. In fact, I called Sunday & could have had Seahawks & Giants tickets if I wanted.

I just called now & there are still single seats available. If you wait unitil the week before, you should be able to grab some that are together.

You asked...

Someone offered me a ticket - for FREE - sitting 12 rows from the field on the 50 yard line...I told that person that I might be going with other people, that I was not certain as to whether I would take the ticket or not, I 'sorta' committed to sitting with those other people/purchasing tickets with them.  The person offering the ticket was rather insistent that I take it, and sit with that person...and in fact, mailed the ticket to me last week - I agreed to sit with the ticketholder the DAY he mailed it.  (The ticket was in my hands on Monday)  Saturday night, the ticketholder, in a drunken stupor (so what?) offered the seat to someone else.  This 2nd party called the ticketholder back Sunday morning to inform him that said person would definitely be going to the game with him, and was sure to take the day off from work (works in said bar/restaurant).

I found this all out on Sunday afternoon...where the ticketholder said, "I feel like total dogshtein...but..." and proceeded with the story.  I told him it was "no big deal" and that I would mail the ticket back, ASAP.  (The "free" ticket was mailed back Tuesday morning, insured, priority mail, with delivery confirmation.)  He said he felt bad -  :-D?? - and I told him it didn't matter where I sat or who I went with, I was going to the game...no questions asked.  I also informed said ticketperson that I was tailgating with my friends, I had a lot of people I wanted to visit/spend time with, and that I was going to be tailgating likely from 8-8:30AM until the game started.

So, in other words, the moral of the story?  You don't ask 2 or 3 people to the prom - just to make sure you have a date... ;)  ::)

Rest assured, I'll be at that game...with my 'Eagle on' -- and whatnot.

Beermonkey, you bringing the Rumplemintz, or should I??   ;)

So who was the drunken message board member who used a free ticket to try & score with you, only to find he met someone else he has a better chance with?

I still have Rumpleminz in my freezer from the last game I saw you at, so it's on.

T_Section224

i'll be bringing a fresh bottle as well, the one you have is at least 4 games old, jeez.

:D

With the exception of the ticket being OMG awesome...I'm not that heartbroken, to be completely honest.  I was planning to tailgate with friends (BM and Phreak, etc) anyway.  Besides, BM is still on the hunt for my husband-to-be... ;)

T-Sect and BM - equal opportunity Rumpleminz suppliers!   ;)

Hey - it will get me warm, and I'll likely stay warm...that's all that matters!

Save me a parking space?

Rome

At least Die-Hard has sense enough to bring Southern Comfort with him to tailgates.

'F' that Dumpleminz shtein.

:P

I've seen the end result of him & his SoCo, so I'll stick with the warm, pepperminty buzz of Rumpleminz.
