temple made 5 elite eights under chaney including 2001 and 1999. st joes made one in 04. good for them.

i like temple but that st joes run was better than all temples runs put together besides 88

oh most definitely. they went undefeated (even though they didnt play a really tough non-conf sked) and had a number of close/exciting games in the tourney. plus they are a little tiny irrelevant school with a high school gym so it was especially exciting to see them ranked no. 1 and such.

but i was really happy when lucas hit that shot and jaqueer missed his.

i despise st joes and really dont care for villanova. la salle is a nothing school so they are fine. same with penn and drexel.

should be a good dh in ac. martelli, during his 10 minute press conference where he didnt stop talking because he is an unapologetic media whore who looks like peter boyle in young frankenstein, said he expects a sellout. dont think itll come to that but a temple/xavier final at this point might get temple an at-large.
