so one more game then you all can go back to pretending college ball doesnt exist until next march?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Nobody is beating North Carolina, dammitt. They're too friggen' good. I hate them.

In March, there is no other sport.

UNC trailed for 10 minutes in the entire tourney.  Obama wins again

ATV

UNC is the greatest college basketball school EVAR!

Oh uhhh, by the way, none of their high school all american starters was even from North Carolina....

PG Ty Lawson - Maryland
SG Wayne Ellington - Pennsylvania
SF Danny Green - Ney York
PF Deon Thompson - California
C Tyler Hansbrough - Missouri

Dumb.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Did all of Michigan State's starters come from Michigan?  If so, UNC should probably just forfeit the title right now.

not exactly dumb...being able to pull from coast to coast is exactly why they win...north carolina isnt exactly a hs basketball hotbed

michigan state starters = (2) michigan (3) ohio

I agree it's exactly why they win. I don't see how this sort of thing is good for college athletics. I'm sure all of these kids got scholarships paid for from the people of the state. And while the school surely will come out ahead from all the revenue gained from them, how is this good for kids in the state that would otherwise have wanted to play for the team? It seems to me a lot like the argument for banking consolidation - Sure, it's a great way for the company to be succesful and bring in more money, but I don't think it's good business. Also, call it quaint, but it just seems to me that there's something nice about kids playing for the school from around where they are from.

Quotemichigan state starters = (2) michigan (3) ohio

So every one of Michigan State starters was from Michigan or the Michigan region.

PoopyfaceMcGee

They should obviously be the champs, then.  UNC is basically like a large conglomerate outsourcer!

rjs246

Schools who allow students from out of state to attend should be punished or something. farging clown.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

yeah, god forbid you tell a kid "no" because he's not really good enough.  wouldn't want to hurt his feelings or anything.

what about some kid that's a basketball stud from someplace like montana?  granted, they are far, few and in between, but why should he be denied the opportunity to not only play ball at a top tier basketball school, but be denied the oppotunity to go to a top tier university as well?

your logic on pretty much everything sucks.  so farg you.

ice grillin you

what about the kids that wanna experience something new and get away from home for college

should all scholarship students be forced to attend their state university or just basketball players?

yeah i actually think its weird when kids want to stay close to home.  who doesnt want to get the farg away from everything and be on your own for a few years.
