No, it's not wrong and stupid.  He was part of the conspiracy if that's the case.  Of course, you probably believe him.
While the theory initially seems fishy, the conspiracy theorists take the information out of context to create this zig-zagging bullet concept - not what Specter proposed at all.  The Discovery Channel did a documentary on this, and demonstrated using anatomical models that the single bullet theory was valid.  They fired a single bullet (from the same manufacturer's lot as Oswald's) from the same make and model rifle from 60ft in the air (exact geometry) into two anatomical reproductions, positioned based on a 3-D recreation of the presidential limo.  The shot was fired and went through the two bodies as expected (in a straight line) including the rotation of the bullet, deflected off the simulated wrist and into the "thigh".  The bullet did not have enough velocity to penetrate the thigh because it hit two ribs on the way out, but it is plausible (given the other evidence) that the ribs could have been missed (and were) in the actual event.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Go stuff it in your neighbor's mailbox, ok?  Just go away...

Yeah, I should have just rambled on in the TO thread.  It would be more on topic there...

So what's their take on the big chunks of skull dropping off the back of his head?

The man. The myth. The legend.

Raw beef from nearby anti-PETA protesters.

Boy am I happy that someone got that reference. That raw meat scene inspired my friends and I to buy water balloon launchers and launch raw beef and squid from the roof of our high school while the underclassmen were getting on the buses to go home. Good times.

The chick hitting on the pre-frosh is fairly hot, even at 36 years old.

They didn't address the 3rd shot - only the second, which was the "magic bullet".  I'd still like to see an explanation for why he had a face after getting hit from behind.  The bullets used would not fragment unless they hit solid bone - they did several demonstrations showing how the bullet could go through flesh and sinew (even wood!) unscathed except for the rifling.  So, the third shot should have gone right through (as did the second - the exit wound was tiny) or it should have blown his face off.

I'm not convinced that there wasn't a second shooter, just that the Oliver Stone portrayal of a zig-zagging bullet that hovers in midair is complete bullshtein.

Agreed. And she was in a movie about a strip club... may have to check that out.

Wow...people still care about this.  Who knew?

PCU, by the way, was an underrated movie.

*shudder* "It was a total nightmare."
