One thing I get from reading this is a different opinion of McNabb.  I still wish he would have taken a microphone and said "This is my team.  You're here at my pleasure.  Get in line or leave." 

But I'm also impressed that he was able to keep himself out of the fray.  It might be a kind of cowardice in him, but it was certainly a remarkable version of it to abstain from this soap opera as well as he did.

You just can't script the petulant crap Owens was doing.  No one would believe it.

A. Yes. Buried away in a footnote is Bloch's finding that Owens' fight with Eagles "ambassador" Hugh Douglas "clearly was not Owens' fault." Other than that, Owens will have to rely on turkey to cheer him up.
