i dont whine about it....i just hate it...if smoke is bothering me i move...only time ill whine is if someone is smoking where they shouldnt....try to light up in my crib...or have a blatant disregard about what their smoke is doing...like smoking in a car and not putting your window down cause its cold out

if most smokers werent whiney douches and had some intestinal fortitude they wouldnt frequent restaurants and bars that ban smoking...and once that happened youd see smoking laws go bye bye with the quickness


public health is important but not as important as money

I read somewhere that while smokers hang out longer, non smokers spend more money. And a good number of communities that have banned smoking at all restaurants have seen more traffic in their establishments overall.

I don't care about it either way, but it was interesting to see the findings a year or two after the bans in place.  

while that may be true...if smokers in force stopped going to places that banned smoking there wouldnt be bans....or there would certainly be other solutions found...way to much money would be lost

i will say tho the incessant whining by smokers subsides over time as we get further and further into these kinds of bans...its still annoying but much more tolerable...

Life just became more of a drag for New York City smokers after Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a bill Tuesday banning smoking in many public places.

The new law will make smoking illegal in New York City's 1,700 parks and on the city's 14 miles of public beaches. Smokers will also be prohibited from lighting up in pedestrian plazas such as Times Square.

Tobacco still isn't good for you but it's a hell of a lot better than the chemical pumped stuff they buy at the store.
