MURP

as far as the fans are concerned, does it  make a difference if they suspend him for the year or deactivate him for every game?    I can see how it would affect the cash flow for the front office, but to everyone else, whats the difference?

jeffreyjpa

It's probably just semantics...suspension seems more final than "inactive".

as long as he never plays another game as an eagle, i don't care about the money part. :deion

I hear ya MURP.  My emotions want TO "punished" by losing his money.  But my smarts says out is out, so it doesn't matter.

And then I can hold out hope that TO has cost himself millions, since few teams would be willing to take a chance on him, and his paychecks should reflect the low number of buyers.

Quotethats the problem with TO no one has ever stood up whether in san fran or here...like i said yesterday this garbage would not have gone on in places like baltimore new england or dallas...places that have players and coaches who are leaders

New england I will agree with but Balt & Dallas? THe Ravens are a mess, and a bunch of thugs, Dallas has its head coach hitting assistant coaches and it's WR & QB yelling at each other on the sideline.

Can you read? Do you not understand that it has to do with the legal repercussion and possibly money issues?  He's NOT playing tonight, so wtf do you care?

We all know you'll be sucking him off next year when he's a taterskin. So spare us.

Not only that, but doesn't Parcells have the last jackhole who was "Keyshawned" on his active 2005 roster? Namely, Keyshawn himself??

WEST is GOD

So if he isn't suspended then that means the "conduct detrimental to the team" was just BS?
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

PhillyGirl

Yeah, they're just chock full of leadership over there.  :-D

Parcells scapegoats his kicker and sissy-punches an assistant coach, and apparently he's a tough guy again.

No...it means they might "Keyshawn" him with no limit (unlike a suspension and the legal battles with the NFLPA)
