btw its all starting to come out as far as how much negative impact TO had in the lockeroom...suzy kolber just reported that brian westbrrok told her that it was a locker room divided...trotter and dawk both said what reid did lifted a huge weight off the team...i had said all along this kind of stuff would pour out of the locker room at the end of the year...guess its happening sooner...sounds as if theres no possible way TO can make his way back in this locer room again

It is pathetic but it's also the norm for the industry so it's not surprising at all.  They are in the business of generating ratings and ratings are generated by creative editing and half truths.  Sure, I'd love them to stop doing that crap and just report the entire story but that'll never happen.  Now if TO were able to keep his mouth shut and decline an interview every now and then (especially knowing that they media is just looking for an excuse to burn him then maybe he needs to stop giving them soundbytes to work with.  But no, we can't expect that prima dona to do something logical, especially when it involves him being in front of a camera.

Unless a team is willing to make TO the absolute centerpiece of their offense (which the Eagles damn near did except for McNabb being here), and allow this guy to do what he damn well pleases, then he will never be content. There is no real way to please him and have a balanced and harmonius team.

We knew, the Eagles knew, and Andy Reid knew going in, that Terrell Owens was a petulent child. He is selfish, disruptive, and amazingly gifted as an athlete, among the best ever as a Wide Reciever. It's a package you assessed and wanted anyway. We bought the Hummer and are fed up at the cost of gas. Yeah he said he'd be good. But alot of bad kids promise to be good until they get what they want. Anyway, this is TO. He didn't hold a press conference to say these things, an ESPN interviewer spoon fed those words into his mouth, and he swallowed.

They are punishing TO for being TO. Shame on them for being suprised that he would grow louder as this season grew shorter. Don't get me wrong, he deserves to be suspended, but it should have been resolved in the offseason. Pay him or get rid of him. Don't expect him to sit down and shut up. He childish, self centered, and disruptive. And what didn't we already know? The question is how did this team get in this position. It is not all TO's fault. Bottom line, if this is such a problem, good, its taken care of. Let's move on and show me how this team is gonna come together and get back to the SuperBowl. Because when push comes to shove, I am an Eagles fan first, and long after TO is gone, it is the team that will matter.

You have no clue what you are talking about. You have NO PROOF, NONE that TO wrecked the chemistry of the team. Yes, the team is playing poorly, but that could be for a number of reasons. So you have NO PROOF.

The only proof is that TO puts up great numbers, catches like 5 times the TDs, yards and catches of every receiver we have combined, and is a major weapon.

So I have proof and facts, and you bring simply speculation.

Right. He has no proof. Other than the testimony of TO's (former) teammates. Tons of circumstantial evidence and common sense that would tell ANYONE who has ever played any team sport that TO's attitude was destroying the team's chemistry. They should have suspended him before the season, after they sent him home and he made a fool out of himself in front of the team. They should have benched him after he screamed at Andy Reid last week. Trotter and Dawkins should have pile driven his ass into a bonfire. McNabb should have shot him in the face. Westbrook should have murdered his relatives. The chick from Audition should have shoved needles into his eyeballs.

There was a lot that should have been done.
