For every player on the team willing to speak out against T.O., there are 3-4 who would rather keep their mouths shut about him or take his side.  Speaking out against him publicly makes them no better than him.

TO is gonna be sent home later

Um, says who? You? Because Reid never said anything of the sort.

I know it's fun to belittle the waco kid, but you've got more important things to worry about...

when told that david akers said on wip this morning that TO was definitely affecting the locker room andy said "i dont know anything about what those guys are thinking"

that doesn't surprise me.

ps- he should know...he's the damn coach.

Ah, so he should be a mind reader as well as a time traveller. Got it.

he should know the emotional state of his team...part of his job is motivation, no?

He knows.  He might not have heard about Akers' specific comments yet, but he knows how the players feel about T.O.

Anyone catch the BS apology from TO?  I just missed it, and only got Spads paraphrase...
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I heard it was obviously prepared and probably written by someone else.

That's nice and all, but I'd respect Donovan a lot better--and I reckon so would many others, including his teamates--if he punched TO in the mouth.  If he can't do it physically, here't to hoping that he'll tell a microphone:  "The Eagles are my team, not his.  He's here at my will.  If he doesn't shut up, he'll be gone.  Or he'll be my third read on every play.  Got it?"

Are you saying that TO is illiterate?! Because that's what I'm saying.

Maybe he knows, but he's keeping it to himself??? Andy kind of does this occasionally. Or maybe he's too busy building his time machine.

From Comcast Sportsnet:
QuoteAsked whether Owens would be suspended for his remarks, Reid didn't say no.

"We'll see how things go," Reid said. "I'm still in the middle of addressing the issue. That's the way I'll keep it. Right now, that's between TO and myself."

As expected, Reid didn't offer his opinion on Owens' comments.

"I take care of those things in house. I don't take it out in the public," he said. "That's the way I'll handle this. It will be in house business. I will address the player and the people that I need to talk to."

That's what I meant about him being even more non-committal than usual.

It's embarrassing to root for the Eagles as long as they keep TO around.  We are the laughingstock of the NFL.
