Geez...page 13?!?!  I've been out of the loop!

Original name: JTrotterFan (dirty bastage left us hangin!)
New name: Sapp Killa...cuz i can't stand the man!
Real name: Brandon
Home:  Dallas, TX...unfortunately...only cuz of the money!!  I was born and raised Lancaster, PA and have been an Eagles fan since about 1986.  I only started going to the Vet in 1996.  I can't believe it took me 10 years to get there...geesh, what was wrong with me?!  Anyway...i live and work amongst crazy, redneck Cowboys fans.  I can't stand it and get in a pissing match about once a week with some idiot who thinks Bill Parcells is the second coming of Christ, and that the Boys will win the Super Bowl next year.  Losers!

I was here on the board at right around the inception, cuz Sami dragged my sorry arse over here...or should i say saved me from the official site.  Thanx Sami!!  I owe ya one!

So, if anyone remembers, look me up in 2004 at Houston.  Cuz i'll be there in Eagle green yelling like crazy and supporting our Eagles!

Whenever I think of Browns and Eagles, I can't shake the image of Byron Evans squirming with that basically career-ending injury..... When was that, 94?

Moved from Lancaster to Dallas...that's the only way you can leave Lancaster and actually decrease your quality of life.   :)

Hey there,

This is my first post to the board, though I used to come by a lot to read on what's new.  I hope to start posting, especially now that it's the offseason and I really need an Eagles fix now and then.

Name:  Kevin
Location:  I'm in dental school here in Philly.
Why the Eagles?:  This is the town my parents immigrated to when they come over to this country.  I was born in N.C. and have lived in Virginia until I came here to school, but I stayed an Eagle fan all this time. :D

Even though I have lived in Philly the last two years, the only game I've ever seen the Eagles in person is the 2001 game at FedEx against the Skins.

Why am I here?:  Objective, no-BS Eagles talk unlike the "official site".

Well, that's all about me.  See you around.

Especially on a day like today. Welcome Kevin. Since you're in dental school, did you get to see Bill Romanowski on the ESPN Draft show demostrate the newest mouthpiece that is designed to cut down on concussions?
The house was built by players like  ,  [Joyner], [Brown], [Simmons]," he says. "They set that legacy of Eagles defense, then passed it on to us and we built from it. Now, it's their turn to uphold the reputation."- TV

KevinFury

yeah, i did see romanowski's interview.  he is surprisingly well informed.   :o   he had model casts mounted in an articulator, and he did a decent job showing some of the cause for concussions.  i imagine that players get popped in the jaw more often than not.

the mouth guard does help, but i'm not sure how much it will keep one's brain from running into one's skull however, which i think is another common cause of concussions.......still, the mouthguard should keep his mandible in good enough condition where he could still spit on the opposing team's players.   :D

As many concussions as he's caused he should know quite a bit about them. :)
