Reid's offense needs a QB who can beat blitzes for it to work.

Looks like the Cover-0 defense in back in vogue.
More Mahe please.

QB Eagles

Firing a coach who transformed a piece of shtein team into a Super Bowl contender for the last half-decade isn't that smart, especially considering that the Eagles will still have a winning record no matter what happens today.

The Eagles would hire some zesty reject coach and be a bottom of the barrel team for the next 5 years. I guess then you'd be proud of running him out of town for passing too much.

Don't get me wrong, Andy's made plenty of mistakes, but scapegoating him for everything you don't like about this season won't solve anything.

Lurie wouldnt fire Reid even if the Eagles lost the rest of the games this year.

All of you calling for him to be fired should go have someone crack your skulls.

The reason he doesn't deserve a "free pass" is because he's singlehandedly chosen in mid-season to change the offense to this untested, unproven, and never before utilized type of pass only offense. IN MID SEASON no less

He's been doing it the entire year.  This isn't something that just started happening in recent weeks.

You hope. There's no gaurantees in the NFL, buddy.

I'm wondering if Lurie would ever fire Reid. I think Reid would have to willingly move on before Lurie got a new coach.

True.

Id like to see how they function with empty craniums though. Becuase obviously there ain't no gray matter inside if anyone wants Reid fired.

I mean we'll be 4-3 after today, not have a winning record for the whole season.

Yeah, a laughingstock of the whole league that's a pitiful 4-3... some people don't remember the years when four wins would be good for the whole season.

Read the second sentence. :P

??? Hmm... there was a post this was responding to a second ago.

WEST is GOD

It's not about winning records. It's about being ready to win a Superbowl. Right now we aren't playoff caliber let alone Superbowl caliber.

Good coaches don't let their teams trail 14-0 week after week in the first quarters of games.

I don't care what Andy's done in the past. RIGHT NOW sunday October 31st 2005, he is not a good coach. In fact he is worse than Mike Tice this year.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.
