I'd rather have L.J. Smith squeeze footballs out of his arms and fumble them through the goal posts than have Cortez.

and thats coming from a mexican american, folks.   ;)

I though boinic would be the one and only Birds fan to have a Cortez jersey.

He'll certainly be the only one to have it tied in a knot to show off his piercing.

Jose has now completed the NFC East quadfecta.   Tim Hasselbeck, you lose!

Bacterial infection of the mustache. Out for 5 weeks.

Childress calls 62 runs and 10 passes.

Would Childress have that infection too?

Childress luvs him sum running.

R Diddy said that Marty Morningwood is the reason for the pass happy approach more than the past because him and Big red overrule Childress.

So we should blame Marty.

So what's your thoughts on Reid becoming GM - fired as HC and replaced by Childress?  What would the pass/run ratio be then?  Would Childress be a better/worse coach?

P.S. I LUV ME SOME TOD FRNC!

I still like Andy as HC. Morningwood is the problem. Childress will leave and so will our 5 carries a game.

Next year its all passing all the time.

France = good with FGs, not so much on KOs

Cortez = good with KOs, not so much on FGs.

This means Akers will be back for FGs but not kickoffs.

Is it really this hard to understand?

Jesus, you're flipping out like the farging sky just fell.

(PS...not to be more of a bitch, but can we stop with the EMB conversations in here? No one cares)

Not everyone is a self proclaimed football personnel expert like you...forgive us all.  ::)

Got that backwards there, buddy. Mostly everyone ELSE  on this board is claiming to know more than the Eagles FO right now. Not me. All of the armchair GMs are screaming and crying on this thread...they all know more than the brass does.

Well, i'm sorry then.

Just hopeful Akers is really ready to come back.

Unfortunately, FGs frequently decide games...we know that all too well... >:(

I humbly apologize for any and all references made to the EMB.  Due to the fact that I am a "newbie" here (although I know quite a few of these posters) -- I was not aware that any and all references to the EMB were a Concrete Field faux pas.  Good to know.

Anything else I need to know?

Nice to have met you on Sunday, PG - albeit brief.

Hypothetical situation:  What is Akers would tear or injure his hamstring again.  Do you keep Cortez only or do you bring back France and keep Cortez for KO's or do you bring back France only??

Which is why I said Akers will be back this week for FGs only, IMHO. Consider Cortez the kickoff specialist. Akers' leg won't be ready for KOs.

Nice to meet you too.

WTF?  I just left work about an hour ago.

This move is ghey.  France doesn't have a booming leg on kickoffs but one thing I noticed is that he got some elevation on his kicks which gave the ST time to get down the field and cover.

If Akers would get hurt again, I'd much rather have France along with his mediocre kick offs and seemingly reliable FG's instead of Cortez's deep kickoffs and missed field goals.

I hate every posssible reason for this move.
