because they are idiots.   

Charles Rogers is a crack head bust.  Roy Williams has some injury issues.  Kevin Johnson is hurt.   Basically they were great on paper and now are not so good.  They are desperate.

its not a secret. his constant idiotic moves with the phillies were just a resume of stupidy for indept franchises in the nfl like the lions, 49ers and taterskins.

We already have one big mouth receiver. Besides, Cortez happens to be a helluva tackler on special teams and he can fix your roof. All Mitchell does is talk about how he loves his hands. Which I personally find kind of creepy.
