Why?

So I'm channel hopping and I get to ESPN2 and they're showing a ladies 9 ball match right now. It's got Allison Fisher playing so I stopped to watch because she's pretty good looking and women who know how to handle a stick are sexy.

But I digress.....

Why are there seperate leagues for men and women's billiards? It makes no sense. I get having a men and women seperated in certain sports like boxing, base(soft)ball, track, etc. Men are naturally superior to women physically. I get that. I even understand why they have a men's and women's pro golf tour. It all makes sense to me. Men have an obvious advantage over women in most sports. But why the hell do they have seperate tours in billiards? I just don't get it. Women don't play on a smaller table than men. The rules are identical. It don't get it.

As you've already pointed out, men are easily distracted by a woman leaning over a table and stroking a big stick. It's an unfair advantage.

A friend of mine digs on Corr too. I don't get it - I guess it's her ginormous yams. Fisher's alright, but Lee is undoubtedly the hottest.

thats a good question sarge. im in a pool league now, APA(amatuer). we have a girl on our team and shes good and hasn't lost yet to a guy. i bet the ladies could beat the guys no problem. i think there is a new show coming out on the game show network, about pool, professionals and celebrities playing and they bet. It looked like girls and guys playing each other. looks like a cool show. i luv me sum pool.

Yeah, I shot APA pool for almost the entire time I lived in KC and it was always co-ed. And that's what really sparked my curiosity when I was watching it last night because it was an APA sanctioned event.
