Jeez....since when did Toront have loot to spend?

He went to TOR because his old pitching coach, Brad Arnsberg, is there.

It's cute that the Blue Jays are making an effort.

Wow Dominican Republic has one hell of a team!

I have some beef with some of the players listed under certain countries though.

Congratulations on proving the point I make regularly that if you don't root for all the Philly teams, you really can't feel the full pain of the Eagles failures, because chances are good that at least one of the other teams you root for have won a championship since 1983.

henchmanUK

Yeah, cos I'm a Sox fan for the glory! :-D

Well, you have your glory to fall back on now, even if it was nothing but pain before late October.

henchmanUK

Apologies if I got this wrong, but don't you root for the NCAA hoops champs?

You got that wrong.  Firstly, I don't care about college basketball much anyway.  Secondly, my allegiances in college sports are all about my alma mater (Penn State), which sucks ass in college basketball.

I'd rather see UNC win something than Duke, but that's about the extent of me 'rooting' for them.

Just said the same thing on XM radio. Also reiterated the Abreu for Prior deal was just a rumor.

Also saying Hoffman is taking a physical with the Indians but that SD will try their best to keep him.

Mariners supposedly offered Millwood a 4 year ($40 million?) deal but there are conflicting reports on whether it's true.
