To kick off the baseball offseason talk...

1. Trader Jack mcKeon has resigned from the Marlins job. He grew tired of the prima donnas on the team, I read.

2. The Tigers fired Alan Trammell today. Good job in getting the guy fired, Pudge.

Award Picks:
MVP- Poholes, Ortiz
Cy- Dtrain, Colon
Manager- Cox, Guillen
Rookie- RDog Howard, Rob Cano
Executive- Ed Wade wins both awards for being so awsome!
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

first off, it's pooholes.
second of all, there's no way ortiz deserves the al mvp over a-rod.  fielding has to factor in somewhere...plus, ortiz has manny hitting behind him.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

oritz has a gazillion clutch hits
arod is a nancy boy

Yeah A-Rod hardly has any support in that lineup.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

boston scored the most runs in the league...they have the better lineup.

and a-rod has more game winning rbi than big poosy...also more hrs & a higher avg by around 20 points.
you're letting your anti-yankees bias get the best of you again. :-D

Far from it. I was just pointing out that saying Ortiz is protected by Manny and therefore should not win the MVP over A-Rod is stupid, b/c the Yanks have a pretty ridiculous lineup around that fag. Personally, I don't think Ortiz, or any DH, should be the MVP. I also don't think that A-Rod is even the MVP of his team, let alone the league. If the choice is only between Ortiz and A-Rod, I would vote for A-Rod, but since it isn't neither would get my vote. A-Rod would probably get my 'league's best player' vote every year, but not MVP when Riviera is the most important player on that team.

well, they rarely give the mvp to pitchers...let alone relief pitchers.
that's why a-rod gets the mvp & rivera gets the cy young. :yay

Relievers rarely get the Cy Young.  This year, however, there are no outstanding starting pitchers in the AL, and Rivera could sneak it in.

Tigers are interviewing Jim Leyland for the managers job...

WEST is GOD

Good, the Phillies don't deserve him now. They lived to regret hiring Manuel and have to move on.
