Davis has a similar skill set to Pinkston.  Tall and fast with "questionable" hands.

I think the only thing that may stop us from putting in a claim is if he's injured again.

He's been banged up for the Pats and he's been injury prone during his career. I doubt he'll get a claim.

The reason the Pats released him was because Kevin Faulk is out for 8-10 weeks with a foot injury so they had to sign Amos Zearoue and with the depth the Pats have at WR, Davis was the odd man out.

If he can tackle and play STs he'd be a shteinload better than McMullen.
