MDS

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

How about Mahe. He sucks.

Given the way that Hood and Wynn have been teh suck on punt and kick returns, I say no.  Mahe probably won't break any long returns but I don't think he's going to misplay anything either.  Hopefully Reid leaves him back there in the return game, especially on the punt return team.

Another lesser possibility would be to come up with an injury for rookie linebacker Matt McCoy and put him on injured reserve.

did that just say they should invent an injury for McCoy?

How about a fractured delutecia?

I've said it for years.  White people have no business in sports, unless it's as the owner.

About time somebody else has come around to my way of thinking.

no just linebackers for the most part...and only pro linebackers

if you rid all sports of whitey what happens to all the 40 yr old lefty relievers

Uhrlacker sucks. Man, I sure am glad we don't have a piece of shtein like Zack Thomas.

Uh, right now, against the Cowboys, I'm not going to miss Akers. I will, however, miss Walker. His contusioned ass needs to get back out there. I am excited, though, to see a little bit of fatass Keyonta Marshall.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

This thread's a week old.  Walker is still 50/50 for the Cowboys game as far as we know.

Obviously take this for what it's worth, but I got this from the EMB:

Quotei was listening to the akers and runyan show on 92.5 about an hour ago. Akers said he got a third opinion and he tore a tendon halfway off his pelvic bone. He would not be specific about when he would be back but did say it would be several games. he was asked if he would be back after the bye and he said nope. He was asked if he would be back when the eagles play in the super bowl and he said if they keep me around. The way he was talking it sounds like he is expecting to be IR'd. He also made a comment about the NFL being the not for long league, and another comment about it being a what have you done for me lately league. Sounding like he may not be around much longer.

If that is true, we'll find out about it tomorrow or Wednesday. But I sure hope it's not. The only good thing is that once France got in a groove he looked OK.

::) Speculate much?

QuoteSource: Akers' hamstring injury is worse than thought

Kicker David Akers' hamstring injury seems to be "more significant than originally thought," a source close to the situation told the Daily News yesterday.

Akers has been seen by two specialists for additional opinions, the source said. Coach Andy Reid confirmed that Akers was seeking an opinion yesterday.

There remains no concrete timetable for Akers' return, but the source said surgery does not seem to be necessary at this time. Akers probably won't be ready to kick in a game when the Eagles return from the bye Oct. 23 against San Diego, the source said.

That leaves Todd France in charge of the kicks. Reid said that despite France's early struggles - his 40-yard attempt was blocked and his first PAT went awry after a bad snap - he had no reservations about sending him onto the field for a 44-yard try at the start of the third quarter.

"He's a young guy, and you have to work through those things," Reid said. "He had a good look in his eye. His first kick was a little low, but after that, he did a pretty good job, I thought. I really wasn't worried. I figured you do it enough times, you can do what you did in practice, and he looked pretty good in practice."

Don't try & use that quote to support your ill-conceived speculation, you know that your post is the "inside source" quoted. Frigging speculator. ::)
