Also - it was apparent that JJ opted not to blitz today. Statue or not, he was worried about Porter/Moss getting deep. That's why Dawk was nowhere to be seen in te box. He was doing his thing deep.

And R Diddy said that the Raiders OL is one of the better pass blocking units out there.

They'll be fine.

I'm still pissed at LJ.

Eaglez

yeah. LJ needs to learn how to calm down. Besides the fumbles though, he's looked like nothing less than a beast.

Hopefully they can learn from this week and apply it next week in KC. Hopefully they can do some sort of super duper therapy on McNabbs abdomen to prep him for next week.

You know France will be activated next week. Bye-bye Reno.

Man how good is this defense though? It's so awesome. 20 points doesn't look impressive, but to anyone who watched the game, it was outstanding. On top of that consider they had the ball near the 50 on every drive. This defense is flat out a shut down defense.

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

I haven't seen the fumble yet, but from what I understand it was a stupid move on his part.  I'm getting tired of those from him.

Yep.  Add to that, the fact that in the first half the offense couldn't sustain a drive for ish.   I haven't looked at a stat sheet yet but I'd have to guess that the TOP favors the Raiders today.

Eagles - 30:03
Raiders - 29:57

Damn sure didn't seem like it though...

Wow, I'm shocked.  :o I figured it had to be somewhere in the area of 32 or 33 minutes for the Raiders and 27 or 28 minutes for the Eagles.

All those running plays helped even things out. :)

Don't forget McNabb's crazy scramble for two yards. That was wild.

For a Raiders team that did a great job the first two weeks against real good backs. Westbrook for the most part had his way with their defense. He was well over 5 YPC. Should've carried it more for sure.

ice grillin you

But Donny Mac was bad early because he was hurting. If you watch the tape, IGY, you'll see that he could not follow through on his throws.

i understand the injury aspect...but you cant have it both ways...he cant get an injury pass for sucking early....and then play great late...if he threw for 80 yards the whole game cause of an injury then id give him the injury excuse...but he clearly was capable of playing well and he did so at the most crucial of times...

Sure you can have it both ways....he sucked it up when it was crunch time. That's why he had an excellent 2nd half. He adjusted properly and Reid actually put him in teh shotgun more so he wouldn't have to take drop-backs.

He said that he could not step into throws at all.

an absolute disgrace by reid not having a second kicker activated

i couldn't agree more...horribly stupid move.  having your injured qb pass the ball 50+ times when your rb is having a field day in his limited carries wasn't exactly a stroke of genius either.  reid's pass-happiness is gonna get #5 killed one of these weeks.

Yeah, I'm sure glad Thornburg was on the sideline in street clothes, rather than having a back-up kicker for Akers.
That was brilliant.
Anyone but Reid.
