I DID think the late hit on him (on Vick) was gay....especially after the no call on the hit on McNabb.

The late hit call on Vick by Lewis was horrible. Vick could have cut it up inside where Lewis would have had to hit him to knock him out, if he doesn't hit him Vick could have gone all the way. Lewis can't predict which way Vick is going to go (this was probably the fifth time in his career he went out of bounds instead of purposefully taking a hit).

I guess the "protect the QB" factor only applies for the QBs that the media loves to suck off (Vick, Favre, etc).

farg McNabb.

Nothing in the game happened to McNabb that warranted a flag.

When is the last time this team had a 4th quarter come from behind win?
To answer my own question:
in the last two years, including playoffs, excluding games that didn't count (last 2 wks of 2004, last week of 2003):
Eagles are undefeated when leading at the half (22-0)
3-5 when trailing at halftime
4-5 when trailing after the 3rd Q (extra win coming from Westbrook return against the Giants)

Eh - not as dramatic as I thought, but they aren't exactly the comeback kids...

From the NFL Rulebook:

Quote15 Yards

1. Chop block.

2. Clipping below the waist.

3. Fair catch interference.

4. Illegal crackback block by offense.

5. Piling on.

6. Roughing the kicker.

7. Roughing the passer.

8. Twisting, turning, or pulling an opponent by the facemask.

9. Unnecessary roughness.

10. Unsportsmanlike conduct.

11. Delay of game at start of either half.

12. Illegal low block.

13. A tackler using his helmet to butt, spear, or ram an opponent.

14. Any player who uses the top of his helmet unnecessarily.

15. A punter, placekicker, or holder who simulates being roughed by a defensive player.

16. Leaping.

17. Leverage.

18. Any player who removes his helmet after a play while on the field.

19. Taunting.

The player CLEARLY lowered the top of his head into McNabb's chest. Similar to the way Dawkins did to Hilliard that drew a $50K fine.

Honestly, 3 illegal formation penalties?  And thats just what I remember, I guess there could have been more.  Who does that?  Andy is just being complicated for the sake of being complicated.
