Yeah...whatever. Tremendous pressure after 1 loss? And while he hasn't won the SB...he hasn't won any big games under pressure? Every playoff game is a big win, you f'in dope.

Read the post before quoting it.....I said Brunell is average at best.....McFlab is a great player.....as long as the game doesn't mean anything.   In all likelihood he'll bounce back, but right now he's under tremendous pressure

By the same token, I guess Brunell's under 'tremendous pressure' since he has such large shoes to fill in replacing the legendary Patrick Ramsey  :-D

It's week 1.  That game tonight didn't mean shtein in the grand scheme of things.  It meant a lot more to the Falcons than it did the Eagles because they've been waiting for this game since January.  Not a pressure game imo.

Pressure games are those win or go home type of games.  They usually happen during the playoffs which I expect you're not too familiar with.

Brunell = Clutch

When are you going to realize that?

Take that back, you son of a bitch. Clutch is an awesome band.

One thing that I didn't see anyone point out was that Hicks fargin sucks and played a terrible game, and we got penalties at the most inconvenient of times. It's not good when you are 1st and 15, 2nd and 9, 3rd and 9, 1st and 20, 2nd and 10, 3rd and 8, etc.

We need to be 2nd and 6, 3rd and 3. We had the throw the ball every friggin time with those penalties, and they didn't respect our run one bit and we had no pass protection either.

To be honest I don't give a shtein about next week. I mean obviously I'm extremely excited to watch the Eagles play, but the Niners are nothing. The Raiders are nothing. The Falcons are a team that is going to be there down the line. Those are the wins and games I care about. Who else on the schedule from the NFC is going to be there at the end of the year? Not the Cowboys. I wanna beat the good teams.

Did I miss something here?!?!

Owens had 7 catches for 112 yards and they're treating Hall like he shut the guy down. Since when is 7-112 shutting people down?

I think rather than taking the time to point out individual sucky performances on the o-line we just bashed the unit as a whole.

I've been asking the same question on the Falcons board. Something about an underneath route and the fact that he didn't score a TD or something?  ???

It's a matter of perspective I guess.  TO had a solid game but Hall was able to keep him in check in regards to making "the big play".  He kept him out of the endzone and he kept him from going deep.

I'd say both players had a solid game with each one making plays.

General_Failure

TO had a mediocre game, really. He caught some, got pushed around some, dropped some, and lost one or two in the lights. Hall got the best of him, considering the number of throws that went his way.

Eagles have lost their last 5 games when McNabb throws 45 or more passes.

PhillyPhreak54

Well...I'm going to go finish my beer and pass out.

Goodnight. And quit trippin for those of you who are. And absinthe...go f yourself.

SD_Eagle5

Eagles have lost 5 straight times when McNabb has had to throw for over 45 passes in a game. I realize we were down early, but Andy needs to establish a run game somewhere during the season. Airing it out every play really isn't going to keep the defenses guessing.

WEST is GOD

115 yards looks good on paper, but he had an average game for TO standards. No big plays, wasn't always open, and dropped balls.
