NBC10 showed him walking back to the huddle in slow motion.  It was gross.

WEST is GOD

#289
My week 1 rundown, starting from the top:

- The Chiefs defense looked solid today. Whether or not it was a one week wonder remains to be seen. The running game looks incredible as usual. Eagles are going to have hands full when we play them. They look like the toughest game on the schedule right now. As for the Jets... Pennington had a terrible day, as did the whole team, but I expect them to rebound. Chiefs as of week 1(which isn't saying much) is the best team in the AFC West.

- Saints played very well today. They've always had the talent to succeed. Maybe it's that time they put it together. The interviews about them playing the entire season on the road showed me they just looked confident. Maybe it was a fluke, who knows. The Panthers shouldn't be written off yet, they are still talented, although I never predicted them to win that division in the first place.

- The taterskins looked terrible as usual. The defense was solid, but it's the frickin Bears. They would make the Packers defense look good. I had them written off before the season even started and they showed nothing to change my opinion.

- Roethlisberger had a good game, but not as spectacular as everyone was saying. The Titans defense stinks, and he didn't do anything completely spectacular. They had no pass rush on him, and he stood back there all day and picked his targets. Parker had a good game, but I severely doubt he repeats a performance like that again.

- The Vikings are frauds. This isn't a new opinion for me, they were my bust pick this season, even though they'll probably still make the playoffs(because the NFC north is so bad). Look at these receiving stats:

N. Burleson   3   45   0   20
J. Kleinsasser   4   42   0   13
T. Taylor   3   38   0   25
J. Wiggins   4   33   0   17
M. Williams   2   32   0   25
M. Robinson   3   22   0   14
M. Bennett   3   21   0   10

You're telling me they are fine without Moss who had 151 yards and a TD against the Pats great defense? Gimme a break. Trading Moss was the next dumbest trade since the Broncos gave up Portis. Both deals will cost those teams dearly. Also Culpepper was their leading rusher with 19 yards. They have no RB either. Bennett stinks, Moore and Williams are just average. When was the last time Culpepper didn't throw a TD in a game? Coincidently I think it's the first time in a long time, and no Moss.

- My man Cadillac Williams had a real nice game, but half of his yards were on one run. I'm only semi rooting for him, since he is a Buc and I still hate that team.

- Denver is a team I picked to finish last in the division, and today they made me look correct. They couldn't stop the Dolphins offense, which is average, and they couldn't do anything against the Dolphins defense. It's good, but it's not incredible. I don't think the Broncos will turn it around much either. This team just doesn't look very good to me.

- Rams will be better than they showed today. I liked the Niners today because of the spot, but the Rams still got that division. Especially since their home field advantage is a notch above a lot of other teams. The Niners surprised them because the Rams are poorly coached. The Rams will be an 8-8 or so team, so I'm not saying they are great, but better than they showed today. They could never win on the road, so it's no real surprise. Over the years they've lost to terrible teams on the road.

- Dallas sucks, overrated performance. Eagles will sweep them easily. farg Dallas. Chargers really missed Gates today. If he's there they win. That loss could really hurt them if the AFC West is tight like I think it'll be.

- Giants winning is no real surprise to me. I don't get this whole Cardinals bandwagon. They aren't that great, and Kurt Warner sucks. Their defense is average as well. Burress had a decent game, and Jacobs looks like a goal line nightmare. No worry because the Giants won't sniff the goal line against the Eagles.

- Packers looked like the worst team in football today. Yes, worse than the Ravens. Walker could be out for the season, so it could be a long year for them, but in a terrible division they still have hope.

- Lastly, the Ravens stink. Their defense was good as usual, but it could only hold on for so long. The offense just is terrible. Boller didn't even play that bad of a game either. I don't get what it is, but it seems receivers just don't get open in that offense. They don't get any big plays down field very often. Jamal Lewis started out good early, then from the 2nd quarter on got completely shut down. The Colts weren't all that impressive. They pretty much played like I expected on offense, but the defense looked pretty good. That isn't saying much because the Ravens offense is terrible.

THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

Manning shows his true colors again, passing and into the endzone no less when the game is already over.

What? NOT MANNING! He's...he's...the best QB....Ever.

This is going to sound weird...but Simon gets fat in the same way girls tend to get fat.

Just an FYI....Peter King reported today that the Patriots have now upped their parking to $35.00 from the $25 it was for the past few seasons.

Again, did we boo Irvin or did we cheer? Nobody seems to have a straight answer on that.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I thought we danced around his body.
