Find me a coach that ISN'T a controlling and arrogant prick....if you find one, I can bet you good money that he is either a) not an NFL head coach or b) is a shtein NFL coach.

Hugh Douglas did an interview awhile back and talked about Johnson and Hegamin and said that Andy had to do that to earn respect.

I love that shtein. Perfect way to set the tone as a new coach.

Yep. Hugh even said that players were more skeptical than normal because Reid had never been a coordinator.

But those two things, among others, Hugh said set them straight and set the winning tone.

I just cannot stand Eckel's personal vendettas coming out with his articles. If he was a columnist? Maybe. But report the facts of the game. Keep the agendas out of it. I saw Rayburn make plays and then read Eckel saying how he sucked. He's a clown. Someone needs to call him on it.

A caller tried to call him out on WIP the other day when he said "I hope he goes to BAL and signs that big deal so the Eagles get nothing" and he backtracked like crazy.

Not comparing their accomplishments just yet, but I bet Lombardi was a controlling prick, as well...I know Parcells is, and he's also far less respectful to the media than Reid has ever been.

The guy doing the game with Jaws last night mentioned that if Reid were to go 12-4 this season and Gibbs 6-10, Reid would move ahead of Gibbs as far as all-time winning percentage is concerned. Of course I'd rather have the three SB wins, but, in due time.
