Flyers Notes | Forsberg returns to lineup tonight

Flyers Notes

The Flyers' practice yesterday was brief, but it was long enough determine that center Peter Forsberg will return to the lineup for tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wachovia Center.

Forsberg has missed the last two games with a mild left groin strain.

"He will play," Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock said after the workout at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, Camden County. "He felt 100 percent, actually."

Forsberg skated freely during yesterday's practice, but he is still preaching caution.

"You really have to be careful with an injury like this, and I wouldn't go out there if I didn't feel 100 percent," said Forsberg, who is second in the NHL with 45 assists. "I could almost go full [yesterday] and felt fine, and if there are no setbacks [today] when I skate, I should be fine."

I doubt we still get Weight after picking up Nedveds contract. Sims only clears a couple hundred thousand and I think we're really close to binge over the cap as is.
