man they look horrid tonight...especially nitty...if you watch him he is going down to his knees at the slightest hint of a shot...i dont know if hes fatigued or what but he has no confidence right now...randy jones is turnover machine...three tonite...and needs to go down to the phantoms

I think he's fatigued.

Flyers trade Seidenburg to the Yotes for Petr Nedved

Why does this trade look too good to be true? (Millwood/Estrada comes to mind) Flyers take a cap hit here and Nedved's been injured but still....

#707
because nedved cant play anymore...nor does he really want to

i suppose therian gets released today as well

im thinking they did this because forsberg has a sports hernia and will be out until the playoffs or thereabouts
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I sort of agree, but if healthy it wouldn't shock me to see him chip in 10-15 goals this season. Not bad having depth like that, guess this makes Primeau's status that much more bleak.

I'm not the biggest Esche fan, but Nitty needs a break and the competition at this point of the season is certainly welcome.

how about neil little or jean-marc pelitile. or whatever his name is. give them some work.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Jean-Marc Pelletier plays with the Panthers now and I don't even think he's seen NHL ice this season.

What a stupid trade.  CUT THERIEN not Trade another young player for a washed up player

Agreed, I 'like' Seidenburg but he's injury riddled and isn't that talented. It's not like this is a young team that's rebuilding around a young nucleus, this team has Cup on their minds. (I hope) Adding an experienced veteran goal scorer with size for a 3 or 4th line minor league forward is a no brainer.

as much as I am NOT a Therien fan, I think he is finally seeing the writing on the wall.  He has been picking up his game (believe it or not), and is actually hitting and passing.  He is still serviceable...as a 6th-7th d-man.

Seidenberg had opportunities to move up in the D ranks, but it never materialized (injuries and inconsistant play).  Plus the Flyers are hot on Randy Jones.
