give em the job...let him prove himself...not saying hes capable of taking them where they need to go but we all know esche isnt...so might as well go with ant until he proves otherwise

esche has been in the league for parts or all of seven years...he was a low pick..i believe 4th round by phoenix out of the ohl...was not thought of much then...struggled basically his whole career until last season when he had a 'career' year...and even at that wasnt overly impressive...hes a solid goalie but not much more...not a guy that should be backstopping the favorite for the cup

i am in no way saying that nitty can win a cup either but WE KNOW ESCHE CANT...so lets go with the kid and see what he can do

the little swede played only a handful of games in his first year...then the following year showed everyone he was the real deal

nitty possibly could do the same...but we wont know if we let dead weight esche start the whole year...not to mention the stakes are even higher now as the flyers are legit cup contenders...hell even favorites

Nitty was a 6th round pick in 98' (7 years ago)

I'm all for competition, but until proven otherwise Esche is our #1.

Nice to see Tucker pull his "shot in the back of the head but I don't miss a shift" bullshtein at center ice.

He makes me want to kill someone. Preferably him.

For those that haven't seen him, he took a puck to one eye, then was hit in the other eye with a stick last night in Ottawa, and now he looks like a raccoon...


The game is in a "technical delay" because the lights failed to come back on....
