I talked to a few 'insiders' at the Wac lasntight, you're right for the most part. They cleared some cap to make a move for a good Defenseman or Forward. They're using 3rd and 4th liners and picks as bait.

I got out of the Navy in November and moved back to Philly in December. I have a relative that we'll just call Mom that works for Greater Media (WMMR) and knows just about everyone in the Flyers and Sixers organization.
