QuoteLike Owens, he's as exciting off the field as on it too, whether it's admitting to smoking a joint "once in a blue moon," tipping over a traffic cop with his car bumper, squirting an official with a water bottle from the sidelines or mooning the fans in Green Bay after a touchdown. No matter how you slice it, Moss makes headlines.

He also makes touchdowns commonplace, enemies wherever he goes, absurdities every fifth time he opens his mouth and defensive coordinators nervous. Very, very nervous.

In this day and age, that's excitement in all it's accepted forms.

Boring.
:-D
Anyways
I disagree with all of those superstars, but then again, I don't know who IS exciting in the NFL. There's players who are good and can make plays, if that's what they mean. Still, TO is a great player. One of the best wide outs in the league right now? Sure, probably ranked 1-3. But best ever? No, doubt it.

And next on ESPN Hollywood...   :-o

I was listening to ESPN Radio this afternoon and the idiot that was on kept going on and on about TO not being at the carnival.  He kept saying "make no mistake about it, the only reason TO is not at that carnival is because the Eagles don't want him involved in team functions."  "TO is only needed at game related functions and nothing else."  He made no mention of Tra Thomas and how he wasn't there.  I was so pissed.  I tried calling about 20 times and they wouldn't let me talk to the guy.  I sent him an email disputing his facts and i got back a response that said, "believe what you want, i know i'm right."  Media Sucks!!
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

I listen to Mike and Mike in the Morning on my way to work, mainly because I find their schtick entertaining.  They even make fun of themselves a bit with their "All TO All The Time" jingle.  Of course, when he was "asked to leave" camp, I stopped listening at all because I was on a sports media boycott, much like I was for the few weeks after the Super Bowl.

Other than that, I'm not paying much attention to what ESPN says or does.  I actually don't even watch ATH or PTI much anymore.  I can find out everything I want to know about the Eagles right here.

I'd just like to say that Sal Pal is a farging idiot.

Before the game, Joe Banner was interviewed by CSN and they asked why TO wasn't part of the carnival. Banner said that because when the lists were made of the autograph booths, it was when they didn't know if he was going to hold out or not, so they were cautious and kept him off the list. Had it been done this week, he'd be on it.   They didn't want fans to pay for the tickets to get his autograph and then have him hold out and not be there.

So after tonight's game, Sal Pal just "reported" that TO tweaked his groin just a bit in the end of the first half, but that this might be a "reason" for TO not to particpate in the autograph signings at the carnival.

farging idiot. Stop your farging speculation and get some facts for a farging change.

That is where this joke of a network gets this shtein from. I hope that Comcast builds a network that shows actual SPORTS and will eventually overtake the joke that ESPN has become.

Don't hold your breath on that one. Comcast isn't all that hot either.

I mean with the new OLN and all of the things they are TRYING to do. If any of it comes into fruition, ESPN will be looking at a big time competitor.
