Chargers general manager A. J. Smith goes to great lengths to protect his tough-guy image. He nixed a photo of him smiling which was to appear in the game program.

And some think that the Eagles FO people are hardasses? This is the guy who suspended his TE for the 1st  regular season game and then brags about how he stuck it to Jimmy Sexton last year in negotiations knowing full well that he'll have to deal with the guy and other agenst again.

Now he's acting like a kid and removing a picture of him smiling? WTF?

Just about hits the nail on the head.  What the hell are the Chargers thinking?  I seem to remember they botched things with Jason Ball, too.   It's a strange FO.
