Arguing statistics with fans whose team went 15-4 when your team went 6-10 is really sad.

It's also a sign of mild retardation which is certainly understandable considering their male fans routinely wear dresses and pig snouts to games.

...if you take away offensive and special team points given up, like kick returns, punt returns, INTs for TDs, or fumbles for TDs , from both teams the taterskins would have given up less points...

Well, as long as we are manipulating the stats so they look better, How did the Eagles defense do in Games that mattered?

Regular season, excluding the last two games where the Eagles rested starters: 14.4 ppg

Postseason: 16 ppg.  How did the 'Skins do in the postseason?  Oh yeah, that's right...

manipulating stats? the taterskins defense gave up less points than your defense plain and simple.  An offense turnover for a touchdown has nothing to how good a defense is.  I agree that the taterskins are a  worse team and I have said before that the taterskins had the worst offense last year of any team and that the defense carried whatever was there.  The defense was better in every catagory and most of you were so proud of your points per game that you now know the taterskins are better in.

It is funny you all just yell out things before you actually look up into what you are saying.  You all were so very proud of you defensive points per game but the taterskins were better and according to many of you POINTS PER GAME IS ALL THAT MATTERS, I don't fully agree with that because a bad offense can really hurt a defense, Also you started to talk about penalties before you even knew that the taterskins did better in the preseason.  I don't really care much for the preseason but i know one of you will say preseason doesn't matter, i agree it doesn't matter just remember i didn't bring it up because you all seem to forget i am just commenting on something someone else commented on.  The taterskins looked bad on STs when it came to penalties but offensively they are top 10 and on defense they are number 1 this preseason, both better than the eagles.

Yes. You were manilupating stats. So he manipulated ours. Our first team defense played 14 games last year. In those 14 games they gave up 14.4 points per game. Which was significantly better than your first team defense did. It isn't rocket science, but then again as a Skins fan, perhaps simple math qualifies as rocket science.

1.  The taterskins defense gave up less points than the Philly D did last year.  Overall the taterskins AS A TEAM gave up 265 points last year while the Eagles gave up 260.  However, Philly had one TD scored against it because of an int.  Six TDs were scored against the 'Skins while the defense was not on the field (one PR, one KR, one int, and three fumbles).  So, therefore, the Eagles D surrendered 253 pts or 15.8 pts/game, and the 'Skins D only gave up 223 pts (tied with the Steelers for least in the league) or 13.9 pts/game.  Therefore, statistically the taterskins defense was better than the Philly D in EVERY statistical category.

Your offense will probably double the points it gives up this year, and the defense will frustratedly give up midway through the season.  So, the Skins will give up about 17-18 points per game, but you'll come back here and try to magically turn it into 10 points a game with your fuzzy math.

Your team sucks.  All of it.  The defense only slightly sucks less than the rest.

How can you honestly sit here and HONESTLY believe that you have any leg to stand on by trying to make it seem like the Skins are better at ANYTHING than the Eagles?

Until the Skins show that they can actually have a winning record, shut the farg up with your "we're better than you" attitude. Because there is not one aspect of the game that SKins fans can HONESTLY say their team is better at.
